Devin Booker’s second signature Nike shoe is becoming a tribute to something that has followed him far beyond the court: classic Chevrolet Impalas.

The Book 2 x Chevy in Metallic Red Bronze takes its identity from Booker’s 1959 Impala, a car he calls “Pretty Penny.” The design translates recognizable pieces of the car into details that reward a closer look.

From Detroit car culture to a signature shoe

Booker was born in Michigan, and Chevrolet introduced the collaboration around Detroit’s Woodward Dream Cruise—an event built around the region’s deep connection to cars. That setting makes the project feel more personal than a standard licensing exercise.

Chevrolet describes this pair as the first chapter of a four-shoe collection based on Booker’s vintage Impalas. The 1959 car leads the series, with additional models from his collection informing later releases.
